Josine van Dalsum
Josine van Dalsum (born July 14, 1948 , Breda , North Brabant Province ; † November 17, 2009 in Amsterdam , North Holland Province ) was a Dutch actress and screenwriter .
Career
Dalsum appeared in the theater from the early 1970s. Appearances in numerous television productions followed from the mid-1970s. In 1975 she recorded the music album Ik Ben Er Zomaar .
In 1981 she took on the role of the dancer and spy of the same name in the television miniseries Mata Hari . In 1983 she was seen in the horror thriller Elevator of Horror . After that, she turned to television again.
From the end of the 1990s she wrote screenplays for the German television series Die Wache and Ghostbusters John Sinclair .
In 2003 she was diagnosed with cancer, which she dealt with in her autobiographical book Hagelwit . The book Kleine Johanna was also published , in which she wrote about her youth in Breda.
In 2009 Von Dalsum was made a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau . A few months later she died of cancer.
Private life
Josine van Dalsum was married to the director John van de Rest since 1974 . The son Aram van de Rest , born in 1976, also works as an actor.
