Jacqueline Theresia Mayerhofer (born January 3, 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author and editor.

life and work

Jacqueline Mayerhofer finished her school education in 2012 with the Matura at a school with a focus on international business activity and marketing. In 2019 she completed her studies in German Philology with a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Vienna and is now devoting herself to the master's degree in her German studies .

She writes mainly in the fields of science fiction and fantasy . In addition to novels and short stories, she has published numerous short stories in various anthologies since her debut in 2008 . In 2019, Jacqueline Mayerhofer was chosen to be the town clerk of Eggenburg for her novella The Foreign Will at the Eggenburg Medieval Festival. Her novel Brothers of Darkness was named Novel of the Year 2019 by the music broadcaster Radioplanet Berlin . She herself took third place in the category Author of the Year .
