Jacques Natteau

Jacques Natteau (born November 15, 1920 in Constantinople (now Istanbul ), † April 17, 2007 in Lausanne ) was a French cameraman .

Life

Natteau worked his way up through the positions of camera assistant and member of the camera team and was responsible as chief cameraman from the late 1940s. He was engaged in complex literary adaptations several times. Natteau's work was also valued in films in which he was able to bring out costumes and decorations to advantage. He worked several times for the director Jules Dassin . At the end of his career, Natteau worked exclusively as a producer.
