The Jade Point is a moderately rising rocky cape in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the south coast of the Trinity Peninsula , as the northeastern branch of the Yatrus Promontory, it represents the southern limit of Eyrie Bay .
The cape was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee on February 12, 1964. It is named after the greenish shimmering ice, reminiscent of jade , at the foot of the cape.
