The Yatrus Promontory (English, Bulgarian полуостров Ятрус poluostrow Jatrus ) is a largely ice-free, vorgebirgsartige and 8 km long peninsula in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the south coast of the Trinity Peninsula , it protrudes south of Eyrie Bay in an easterly direction into the Prince Gustav Canal . It runs out to the east at Jade Point and to the southeast at Bald Head .
German and British scientists mapped it together in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the Iatrus castle in northern Bulgaria .
