Grazia Barbiero De Chirico

Grazia Barbiero De Chirico (born November 21, 1951 in Bozen ) is a South Tyrolean politician.

biography

Barbiero De Chirico holds a degree in Modern Languages and has worked as a teacher. She was politically active in the Partito Comunista Italiano . From 1974 to 1979 she represented the PCI in the town council of Merano , from 1984 to 1986 she headed the South Tyrolean regional organization of her party. After the resignation of Anselmo Gouthier, she moved to the South Tyrolean state parliament in 1979 and, at the same time, to the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol . In the state elections in 1983 , Barbiero De Chirico , who was particularly committed to women's politics , was able to successfully defend her mandate, which she held until the end of the 1988 legislative period.
