Jae Head

Jae Head (born December 27, 1996 in Hamlin , Texas ) is an American actor who became famous for the role of SJ Tuohy from the movie Blind Side .

life and career

Jae Head is from Texas and has been an actor since 2005 after guest starring Leroy on How I Met Your Mother . This was followed by an appearance on MADtv , before he was seen in 2007 as Bo Miller in a supporting role in the series Friday Night Lights .

His breakthrough came in 2008 when director Peter Berg cast him as Aaron Embrey for his action film Hancock , alongside Will Smith , Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman . 2009 followed in the role of SJ Tuohy from the film Blind Side - The great chance of the next success. For his portrayal, Head was nominated for Best Young Actor at the 2009 Critics' Choice Movie Awards . Head has since made other film appearances with Strings and The Bachelors .

Health problems

Head was born without an aorta , so some of his blood vessels had to be used to replace the aorta. He had his first open heart surgery at the age of two months and the second followed at 14 months. During a process that lasted three years, his pulmonary vein was transformed into a functional aorta.
