The hunting sword broke in the Renaissance , the hunting sword for interception of big game from. Often it was led from the horse. In contrast to the hunting sword, this edged weapon had a narrower blade and, in addition to the crossguard, an additional handle bar as hand protection. Later this hunting rifle was further developed into a shorter hunting catcher .
