Hunting lodge (Längauer Alm)

The hunting lodge on the Längauer Alm is a hut in the Urschlauer Forst in the municipality of Ruhpolding .

The hunting lodge and the associated caretaker's house are under monument protection and are registered in the Bavarian monument list under the number D-1-89-140-167 .

Building description

The von Siemens family's hunting lodge on the Längauer Alm is a one-and-a-half-story block construction over a bricked ground floor with air painting . The building is marked with the year 1911 on the ridge purlin . The floor plan measures 12 m × 15 m. The windows are decorated with richly decorated bottles , one window is designed as a blind window . Access to the building is possible from both sides of the eaves . The gravelled forecourt, the so-called Vouhaagl , surrounds the building on three sides. In the forecourt there is also a wooden trough , a so-called grand with a fountain column.

The associated caretaker's house with a log upper floor and external staircase is also marked with the year 1911 on the ridge purlin. There are two gates on the ground floor, the upper floor can be entered from both gable sides.

The hunting lodge on the Längauer Alm, like the Siemens hunting lodge on the Haaralm , belonged to the Siemens entrepreneurial family .

The hunting and caretaker's house is located at the western end of the Längauer Alm at an altitude of 930  m above sea level. NN .

The Alm is located in the Urschlauer Forst south of the Hochfelln and south-east of the Hochgern , nestled between Gründberg and Lochköpfel and covers a pasture area of ​​9  hectares .
