History and description
The hunting umbrella on Charlottenplatz dates from the 18th century . The Charlottenplatz was named after Friederike Charlotte von Hessen-Darmstadt . The hunting umbrella resembles the hill-like hunting shelters on the core aisle and on the Landgrafeneck ; near the Dianaburg . By loopholes hunters on running past could boar shoot; without being attacked yourself.
Hunting shade is made of natural stone quadern bricked round and with earth side angeböscht . The wall is about 1.6 meters high and about 0.5 meters thick. There are three loopholes in the wall.
