Jahanbakht Tofigh ( Persian جهانبخت توفيق, * February 9, 1931 ; † 1970 ) was an Iranian freestyle wrestler .
Tofigh competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki in the "lightweight (67 kg)" class and won the bronze medal behind Jay Thomas Evans ( USA ) and Olle Anderberg ( Sweden ).
At the World Championships in Tokyo in 1954 , he started again in free style and became world champion in the lightweight.
Jahanbakht Tofigh also won a silver medal in the middleweight division (73 kg) at the Asian Games of 1958, which took place in Tokyo.
