Jacob Abraham (* 1723 in Strelitz, today Strelitz-Alt ; † June 17, 1800 in Berlin ) was a German, Jewish medalist and father of the medalist Abraham Abramson .

Life

Jacob Abraham worked as a die cutter at the Alte Münze in Berlin from 1752, in Stettin from 1753 and then had changing positions in Königsberg, Dresden and Berlin since 1760. His last known medalist work was done in 1788.

Some of his medal stamps were also used by his son Abraham Abramson.
