Jakob Brunnemann
Jakob Brunnemann (* 1674 in Kolberg , † 1735 in Stargard in Pomerania ) was a German lawyer, most recently director of the Schöppenstuhl zu Stargard .
Life
Jakob Brunnemann studied first at the Brandenburg University of Frankfurt and then at the Friedrichs-Universität Halle , where he heard in particular from his relative Samuel Stryk and Christian Thomasius , and in 1699 obtained a university degree with a licentiate . In 1701 he became an associate professor in Halle .
But in 1704 he went back to his Pomeranian homeland, where he became an assessor of the Schöppenstuhl in Stargard as well as the syndic of the Pomeranian estates. Later he was promoted to director of the Schöppenstuhl.
He died in 1735. The Frankfurt professor Johann Brunnemann (* 1608; † 1672) was his uncle.
