Jakob Emanuel Lange

Jakob Emanuel Lange (born April 2, 1864 in Flensburg , † December 27, 1941 in Odense ) was a Danish mycologist who examined the systematics of mushroom-like . His best known work is Flora Agaricina Danica , a five-volume work on the Agaricales of Denmark. He was also an advocate of Georgism . Its botanical author abbreviation is " JELange ".

He was the father of Morten Lange (1919-2003), a mycologist, professor at the University of Copenhagen and a member of the Folketing .
