Jakob Feyferlik (born October 17, 1996 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ballet dancer . On February 11, 2019 he was appointed first solo dancer of the Vienna State Ballet.

Act

As a ten-year-old, Feyferlik was already involved in three episodes of the Austrian children's series Tom Turbo by Thomas Brezina in the role of Jakob. He received his ballet training at the ballet department of the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna and at the Vienna State Opera Ballet School . His teachers included Evelyn Téri, Karl Musil , Valentin Onoschko and Alejandro Parente.

In 2008 he made his first appearance at the State Opera at the age of twelve, and in 2013 he became a member of the Vienna State Ballet under the direction of Manuel Legris . In 2016 he received the advancement award of the Ballet Club Wiener Staatsoper & Volksoper and was officially appointed solo dancer of the Wiener Staatsballett by Legris.

On January 20, 2016, 19-year-old Feyferlik appeared for the first time as Colas in Frederick Ashton's choreography of La fille mal gardée in the Vienna State Opera, and in December of the same year as the knight Jean de Brienne in Rudolf Nurejew's Raymonda .
