Jakob Jehle (fresco)

Jakob Jehle (* unknown; † February 2, 1602 in Regensburg ) was a German fresco artist and wall painter .

Jehle was a student of M. Sogerës in Würzburg . In 1580 he became tangible as a master in Munich . He painted portraits as well as historical and religious representations. In the church of St. Maria in Thalkirchen there are still remnants of his painting, which he created in 1595 and 1597, in the choir. Other works in the Munich area are attributed to him, including works for altars in the St. Michaels Court Church from 1583 and in the Grottenhof and Antiquarium of the Munich Residence .
