Jakob Kessel

Jakob Kessel (born February 4, 1881 in Allenfeld , Kreuznach district, † June 11, 1965 in Alzey ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

After attending elementary school , Jakob Kessel completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith in 1895. He was later employed as a train driver. From July 1934 he headed the Reichsbahnen student council in Berlin and in 1939 became head of the Reichsbahn comradeship association in the Berlin district. From 1943 he was head of the district headquarters of the NSDAP and the Reichsbahnrat.

Kessel joined the National Socialist Reichstag on September 11, 1942 in the replacement process for the deceased MP Paul Moder , in which he represented constituency 3 (East Berlin) until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945.

In the Berlin address book from 1943, Kessel is listed with the address Kaiserdamm 109 as the chief technical inspector of the Reichsbahn.
