Jakob Krebs

Jakob Krebs (* 1978 in Berlin ) is a German film and television producer and has been with Cinecentrum Berlin, a subsidiary of Studio Hamburg, since 2006 .

Life

Krebs completed his studies in film studies and North American studies at the Free University of Berlin with a master's degree in 2004. During his studies, he worked as a script editor for various television and film production companies.

Since 2006 he has been working as a producer for “fictional materials” at the Cinecentrum in Berlin. Among other things, he was responsible for the productions of the television films Die Zeit der Kraniche ( MDR / ORF , Ein Fall von Liebe - Saubermänner , Ein Fall von Liebe - Anna's Baby ( ARD Degeto / MDR ) and Father out of the blue for ZDF (directed by Ulli Baumann ) he has since 2013 producer for the ZDF crime series. Soko Wismar ; in 2014 he was responsible for the evening series A case of love (ARD).

For the ZDF thriller A Fateful Plan , directed by Ed Herzog , he received the Bernd Burgemeister television award for the best television film from the series "New German Television" at the Munich Film Festival in 2019 .
