Jakob Krumbeck

Jakob Krumbeck (born February 21,  1993 in Kiel ) is a former German basketball player . The 1.88 meter long player was a German national youth player and played for Science City Jena in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA  .

career

Krumbeck played for TSV Klausdorf and the BBC Rendsburg before he went to the Jena sports high school in 2009.

In summer 2009 he was a member of the German U16 national team and took part in the European Championship in Lithuania  , in spring 2010 he played for Germany at the Albert Schweitzer Tournament and in summer 2010 at the U17 World Championship in Hamburg .

In the 2010/11 season Krumbeck made his debut for Science City Jena in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA , but was mainly used in the youth and in the team of TuS Jena in the 2nd regional league. By 2012 he had a total of 35 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA.

He withdrew from the professional field and left Thuringia. In spring 2014 Krumbeck played briefly for the Itzehoe Eagles  in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB .
