Jakob Werle

Jakob Werle (born October 12, 1914 in Rohrbach ; † March 28, 1993 in Birkenfeld (Nahe) ) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Werle attended the Rohrbach elementary school and the Baumholder agricultural school. In 1936 he took over his parents' farm and was an independent farmer.

In 1932 he became leader of Catholic youth associations and deputy president of the Kolping family in Rückweiler . In 1946 he joined the CDU. In 1955 he was elected to the third state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate , to which he belonged until 1959. In the state parliament he was a member of the border region committee and the economic and reconstruction committee.
