Jakub Dohnálek (born January 12, 1988 in Vítkov , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech football player .
Club career
Jakub Dohnálek started playing football at the age of six with TJ Vítkov. The midfielder moved to SFC Opava when he was ten . In the 2004/05 season he made the leap into the professional squad. As a 16-year-old, he made his debut in the Gambrinus Liga on matchday 30 of the 2003/04 season against Baník Ostrava .
After the relegation of his club Dohnálek moved to Slovan Liberec in the summer of 2005 . In the 2005/06 season he was only used in two league games, in the following season he completed eight games. In the 2007/08 season Dohnálek was 14 times in the line-up. In September 2008 he moved on loan to the second division club FC Zenit Čáslav , and in early 2009 he returned to Liberec. In the 2009/10 season Dohnálek was loaned to the second division club FC Hlučín , in June 2010 the midfielder moved to the Slovak first division club FC Spartak Trnava .
National team
Dohnálek went through all of the Czech junior teams from the U16s to the U20s. With the U20 he was runner-up in the 2007 junior soccer world championship.
