Jakub Mareš (born January 26, 1987 in Teplice ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Jakub Mareš started playing football at the age of five at FK Teplice . In 2004 he made the leap into the professional squad. In order to collect match practice, the midfielder was loaned to the second division club FK Ústí nad Labem in the 2005/06 season, and in the 2006/07 season he played on loan at 1. FC Slovácko .

In the summer of 2007 Mareš returned to Teplice and since then has been part of the tribe of Northern Bohemia. After being loaned to Sparta Prague in the first half of the 2011/12 season, he moved to FK Mladá Boleslav during the winter break .

National team

Mareš was in the squad of the Czech U-20 team , which was runner-up at the 2007 Junior World Cup in Canada . He had previously played for Czech U-16, U-17 , U-18 and U-19.
