Jakub Słowik (born August 31, 1991 in Nowy Sącz ) is a Polish football player .

Career

society

Słowik started his football career in his hometown Nowy Sącz , where he played for the youth department of Sandecja Nowy Sącz . In 2006 Słowik moved to Szamotuły , where he played for the youth teams of MSP Szamotuły and Sparta Szamotuły . In 2008 he was accepted into the professional squad by Sparta Szamotuły. He then moved to Sparta Oborniki in 2009 , where he came on 37 missions. In 2010, Słowik was signed by Jagiellonia Białystok . He played for a season for the youth department, but was used five times in the professional squad. In 2011 he was loaned to Poznań , where he had ten assignments for Warta Poznań . Since there was no purchase option, he returned to Jagiellonia Białystok in 2012. Since then he has had 48 appearances in the Ekstraklasa . For the 2015/16 season he moved to league rivals Pogoń Stettin , where he signed a two-year contract.

National team

Jakub Słowik made his debut for the Polish national soccer team on February 2, 2012 in Málaga against Romania . Poland won the game 4-1.
