• Guise 1 Jalois = 2580 Parisian cubic inches = 51.125 liters
• Paris 1 Jalois = 5 boisseaux / bushel
• Ribemont 1 Jalois = 4 Boisseaux / Scheffel (measured heaped)

Grain was also traded with the market weight according to the Jalois.

• Wheat 1 jalois = 80 pounds
• Rye 1 jalois = 76 pounds
• Oats 1 yalois = 50 pounds
