- Guise 1 Jalois = 2580 Parisian cubic inches = 51.125 liters
- Paris 1 Jalois = 5 boisseaux / bushel
- Ribemont 1 Jalois = 4 Boisseaux / Scheffel (measured heaped)
Grain was also traded with the market weight according to the Jalois.
