James Corboy

James Corboy SJ (born October 20, 1916 in Cahirconlish , Limerick , Ireland , † November 24, 2004 ) was Bishop of Monze .

Life

James Corboy joined the Jesuit order and was ordained a priest on July 28, 1948 . John XXIII appointed him on March 10, 1962 Bishop of Monze . The Archbishop of Lusaka Adam Kozłowiecki SJ consecrated him on June 24th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Francis William Markall SJ, Archbishop of Salisbury and Timothy Phelim O'Shea OFMCap , Bishop of Livingstone . On November 26, 1991, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.

He died on November 24, 2004 at the age of 88.
