James Hummitzsch Flynn (born August 8, 1907 in Paterson , † August 15, 2000 in West Orange ) was an American saber fencer .
Life
James Flynn took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London , where he finished third with the team. With Miguel de Capriles , Dean Cetrulo , Norman Cohn-Armitage , Tibor Nyilas and George Worth he received the bronze medal.
In 1947 he was the American champion in singles, he also won the national title in team competition four times. Flynn was a podiatrist .
