James P. Delgado

James P. Delgado (* 1958 in San José , California ) is an American author and underwater archaeologist .

Delgado worked as a diver and underwater archaeologist. He took part in over 100 shipwreck investigations. These included the RMS Titanic , the USS Monitor , the USS Arizona , the Sub Marine Explorer , the loaded gold rush ships off San Francisco and Kublai Khan's fleet off Japan. As an author, Delgado wrote several books on underwater archeology.
