James Robert Hightower

James Robert Hightower (born May 7, 1915 in Sulfur (Oklahoma) , † January 8, 2006 in Elsen near Herscheid ( Sauerland )) was an American sinologist .

Since 1958 he was a professor at Harvard University . In 1971 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
