James Spragg (born July 19, 1987 in Exeter , Devon) is a British cyclist .

James Spragg was British runner-up in the road race of the U23 class behind Peter Bissell in Long Crendon in 2006 . In the Tour d'Indonesia , he won the fourth stage to Surakarta . In 2009 he received his first contract in an international cycling team with the Chinese Continental Team Trek-Marco Polo . In his first year there, he finished seventh in the second stage Giro del Capo and won a stage in the Tour of Thailand .
