Jamesoniella undulifolia is a species of moss of the order Jungermanniales .

features

The plants grow in grass-green lawns. The flank leaves incline at the top of the stem together and are thus one-sided. The flank leaves are almost circular. The leaf margin is wavy. In the middle of the leaf, the cells are 30 to 32 micrometers in size. The sub-leaves are lanceolate. The perianth is elongated egg to pear-shaped and protrudes far from the bracts.

Distribution and locations

The species is widespread in the northern hemisphere in the sub-oceanic zones. In Germany it occurs only very rarely and grows between peat mosses in bogs .
