Jamie Clayton
Jamie Clayton (born January 15, 1978 in San Diego ) is an American actress.
Life
Clayton is a trans woman .
She was born and raised in San Diego. At nineteen, she moved to New York City to begin a career as a makeup artist. In this role, she made her first television appearance in 2010. Together with the other two trans women Laverne Cox and Nina Poon, she gave a makeover on the reality show TRANSform Me Cis women .
In 2011 she had her first acting role in the third season of the television series Hung - Far Better . She was best known for her leading role in the Netflix- produced television series Sense8 , in which she plays a trans blogger in San Francisco .
Her first role in a feature film was in The Neon Demon in 2016 .
Now Jamie has another TV role in Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland . In the third season of the series, she plays the sister-in-law, with a transgender background, of US President Tom Kirkman.
