Jamie Gregg (born March 18, 1985 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a Canadian speed skater who specializes in the sprint courses. He started speed skating at the age of five . His father Randy is a former ice hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers and his mother Kathy was a speed skater .

Gregg started the World Cup for the first time in November 2007 and is a specialist in sprint courses over 500 and 1000 m. At the 2010 Olympic Games , Gregg was eighth over the 500 m in front of his home crowd in the Richmond Olympic Oval .

At the 2011/12 World Cup finals in Berlin , Gregg achieved his first World Cup victory over the 500 meter course.

Gregg is studying biology at the University of Calgary .
