Jan-Jürgen Wasmuth

Jan-Jürgen Wasmuth (born October 28, 1938 ) is a German composer and church musician in Walsrode .

biography

Jan-Jürgen Wasmuth studied church music and Protestant theology in Herford and Heidelberg . After graduating, he worked as a district cantor in the Oberheidelberg church district and as a teacher for music and religion at the Hebelgymnasium in Schwetzingen , then as a district cantor in the Bramsche church district (Lower Saxony) and as a music and religion teacher at the Greselius grammar school in Bramsche and finally as regional cantor for 12 years Lower Saxony Church Choir Association in the Confederation of Evangelical Churches in Lower Saxony (regional churches in Braunschweig, Hanover, Oldenburg, Schaumburg-Lippe and Reformed Church) and in the Evangelical Church in Bremen .

He directs the vox-humana choir in the bird park region of Walsrode / Südheide. He also held church music seminars in Estonia and Saint Petersburg in his retirement . He was also active in the lecturer training of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover .
