Jan Boyen
Jan Boyen (born April 20, 1970 in Tienen ) is a former Belgian Paralympic cyclist .
Jan Boyen lost one of his lower legs in an accident in 1989; since then he has been wearing a prosthetic leg. As a cyclist, Boyen became a professional with the Belgian Continental Team Jartazi-Promo Fashion in 2007 . At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing , he won the bronze medal on the track in the 4,000-meter single pursuit in the LC 2 performance class and came seventh in the 1-km time trial.
