Jan Ash

Jan Esche (* 1957 in Erlangen ) is a German author and publicist who works in the field of so-called "architecture communication". He deals with entrepreneurial self- image and corporate culture in the architecture industry.

Life

Study and teaching

Esche studied history , art history and political science in Hamburg from 1979 to 1989 and did his doctorate at the University of Hamburg on the subject of "Colonial aspirations in Germany in the period 1914-1933". Since 2005 he has been a lecturer at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and since 2007 at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences .

Member of the German Werkbund Bayern. Since 1988 publications on architecture, urban planning and monument protection in various specialist journals, yearbooks and daily newspapers.
