Jan Hanuš (born April 28, 1988 in Chlumec nad Cidlinou ) is a Czech football player on the goalkeeping position.

Club career

Hanuš began playing football at FK Chlumec nad Cidlinou, from 1997 to 2003 he played for RMSK Cidlina. Then the goalkeeper moved to the youth department of Slavia Prague . Even as an A-youth he came to his first assignments for the B-team, which played in the ČFL , in the 2006/07 season . The 188 centimeter tall Hanuš also played for the B team Slavias in the 2007/08 season and in the first half of the 2008/09 season.

In early 2009, the goalkeeper was loaned out to league rivals SK Sparta Krč , for the 2009/10 season he returned to Slavia and was planned as number three in the professional squad behind Martin Vaniak and Deniss Romanovs . After a mistake by Vaniak right at the beginning of the season, Hanuš was trusted by coach Karel Jarolím as the new number one, but only stayed in goal four league games before being ousted by Vaniak again. Again the number three behind the duo Vaniak and Romanovs played Hanuš in September and then again in November 2009 for the B team. In December 2009 Hanuš extended his contract with Slavia Prague until June 30, 2012.

In the winter break of 2009/10 Slavia Prague signed the Slovak goalkeeper Štefan Senecký , whereupon Hanuš moved on loan to the second division club FC Hlučín in order to collect match practice. In July 2010 Hanuš moved on loan to first division promoted FC Hradec Králové .

National team

Hanuš has been used three times in the Czech U-21 national team .
