Jan Karlsson (born December 4, 1940 ) is a former Swedish football player .

Karlsson first played at club level in 1960 for Jönköpings Södra IF . From 1962 to 1964 he was in the ranks of Djurgårdens IF . A time at Ifö / Bromölla IF followed from 1965 to 1967 . From 1968 he belonged again to Jönköpings Södra IF. There he completed at least 42 games in 1969 and 1970, in which he scored three goals.

National team

He also played 28 international matches for the Swedish national team and scored one goal. He was awarded the Stora Grabbars Märke as a Stor Grabb .
