Jan Kowalsky

Jan Kowalsky (born June 4, 1976 in Hamburg ) is a German author, illustrator, university lecturer and marketing manager.

Life

After training as an advertising clerk, Kowalsky studied business communications in Edinburgh and Toronto. After working at eBay , he held a managerial position at the communications agency Kolle Rebbe from 2010 to 2014 . In 2012 his first book, Marketing like out of a picture book, was published . In 2014, Kowalsky moved to XING and has been Head of Marketing there since then. Also in 2014 was his fourth book As Schisser um die Welt , which stayed in the top 50 Spiegel bestsellers for 58 weeks . The partly autobiographical novel describes Kowalsky's time on trips, which he made involuntarily at the request of his wife. Kowalsky continues to work as an illustrator and has illustrated all of his published books.

Since 2007 Kowalsky has been a lecturer at various universities. Since 2013 he has been teaching advertising psychology at the International School of Management in Hamburg. He dedicated his first book to his students.
