Jan Roeloffzen

Johannes Heinrich called Jan Roeloffzen (born January 20, 1950 in Bocholt ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

At the age of 18 he made the leap into the first team of the amateur league club 1. FC Bocholt , with whom he won the Niederrhein champion in 1976 and was promoted to the second division twice in 1977 and 1980 . The defender played a total of 77 second division games and scored three goals. He also made eight DFB Cup appearances and two goals. From 1971 to 1973 Roeloffzen played under his former Bocholt coach Friedel Elting in the Regionalliga West at Eintracht Gelsenkirchen before returning to his home club. In 1980 he took part with Bocholt as champions of the Oberliga Nordrhein in the German amateur football championship and was only eliminated in the semifinals against FC Augsburg . For 1. FC Bocholt, Jan Roeloffzen played a total of 350 competitive games up to 1981, and finally ended his career with local rivals SC 26 Bocholt .
