Jan Wagner (musician)

Jan Wagner (born April 28, 1989 in Sigmaringen ) is a German music producer, composer and pianist.

Life

Jan Wagner's father is a music teacher with his own music school . Jan Wagner also came into contact with production technology at an early age. As a producer and sound engineer , he is still part of the Faust Studio team in Scheer .

Wagner lives and works as a musician and producer in Berlin and has worked for musicians such as Teitur Lassen , Judith Holofernes , Rosa Anschütz, Tobias Preisig and Gisbert zu Knyphausen , among others . He also works as a sound designer for the Berlin Berghain music label Ostgut Ton .

Jan Wagner has been composing and producing his own music since 2017 and released his debut album numbers on the Klangbad label in collaboration with the Swiss label Quiet Love Records in October 2018 . Jan Wagner belongs to the new generation of “neoclassical new-age music ” musicians.

In 2019 his label Quiet Love Records released a series of remixes of the album numbers , among others by Nitam Hinterhaus, Dälek and Jan Brauer .

In 2019 Wagner produced the EP "Rigid" and the solo album "Diver" by Tobias Preisig with the media artist Rosa Anschütz .
