Jan van Eyck Academie
Van Eyck - Multiform Institute for Fine Art, Design and Reflection , formerly Jan van Eyck Academie , in Maastricht is a post-academic institute for fine arts and was founded in 1948. About 50 visual artists, designers, and theorists work there, who deal with the investigation and production in the field of visual arts and design. The institute is located in a building that was designed by the architect Frits Peutz in 1959 and is located in the Jeker district of Maastricht city center.
