Andreas Köpnick
Andreas Köpnick (* 1960 in Bonn ) is a German artist and has been a professor at the Münster Art Academy since 2000 .
Life
From 1980 to 1985, Köpnick studied Vedic Science at the Maharishi European Research University in Switzerland. From 1988 to 1994 he studied fine art at the State Art Academy in Münster, among others with Professor Lutz Mommartz with a master's degree, including a one-year study visit at the University of Applied Arts Vienna from 1992 to 1993 .
From 1996 to 1997 he completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne , and from 1997 to 1998 a phase as artist in residence at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht .
Since 2000, Köpnick has been a professor for film, video and new media at the Art Academy in Münster.
