Jan van Marnix
Jan van Marnix (* 1537/1538 Brussels ; † March 13, 1567 Oosterweel ) was lord of Toulouse .
He was a brother of Philips van Marnix and a member of the nobles who wrote the petition to Margaret of Parma . He fell at the Battle of Oosterweel , the start of the Eighty Years War .
