Jana Galíková-Hlaváčová
Jana Galíková-Hlaváčová (born January 22, 1963 in Brno ) is a former Czech orienteer .
Jana Galíková-Hlaváčová won a total of three silver and four bronze medals at world championships, including one silver and two bronze medals in individual competitions. 1983 in Hungary she won silver in the Czechoslovak team with Iva Kalibánová , Eva Bártová and Ada Kuchařová . In 1987 she was third in the long distance behind the Swedes Arja Hannus and Karin Rabe , as well as with the relay, in 1989 she had to admit defeat to the Swede Marita Skogum . With Petra Wágnerová, Jana Cieslarová and Ada Kuchařová, she also won silver in the relay. At the home world championship in 1991 in Marienbad Galíková-Hlaváčová again won two silver medals.
She started in the World Cup in the 1988 season and was able to achieve three victories. In the overall ranking she came in third behind Ragnhild Bratberg and Brit Volden from Norway.
During her career she started for the clubs VŠZ Brno and Tesla Brno . Today she works as an architect in Brno.
