Janez Debelak is a former Yugoslav ski jumper .

Debelak made his debut in the Ski Jumping World Cup on January 25, 1987 . Already in his first competition in Sapporo , he achieved the best result of his career with 7th place on the normal hill. A year later he was part of the squad for the World Cup and in the World Cup season, after several placements among the top fifteen, he ended up in 40th place in the overall World Cup ranking. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1989 , Debelak jumped from the large hill to 38th place. Even two years later at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1991 in Val di Fiemme , he could not achieve a top position with 40th place.

Debelak's last World Cup competition was on December 2, 1991 in Thunder Bay . He then started in the newly created Continental Cup until the end of the season and ended his active ski jumping career in 1992.
