Jang Seung-eop (* 1843 , † 1897 ), better known by his stage name Owon , was a Korean painter . He is considered the best painter of the Joseon Dynasty .
In 2002 his life was filmed. The film In the intoxication of colors and love was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes International Film Festival , and director Im Kwon-taek received the award for best director.
