Janine Ast (* January 1, 1974 , born Janine Gräfe , now Janine Schulz ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Janine Ast has played volleyball with Bundesliga club CJD Berlin since 1992 and won the German championship twice (1993 and 1994), the DVV Cup three times (1993, 1994 and 1995) and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1993 . In 1998, the universal player switched to league competitor Dresdner SC , with whom she won the "double" of championship and cup in 1999 and the cup again in 2002. In 2003 she ended her Bundesliga career. Janine Ast also played several times in the German national team .

From 1995 to 2003 Janine Ast also played beach volleyball alongside Peggy Küttner . The greatest successes here were two tournament victories in Essen in 2000 and 2002.
