Peggy Küttner (born July 16, 1975 in Meißen ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Peggy Küttner began playing volleyball at the local SG Dynamo Meißen when she was eleven . With the GDR district of Dresden she won the 1989 Spartakiade in Berlin. Then they came to the children's and youth sports school to Berlin and played for SC Dynamo Berlin , with whom she in 1990 shortly before the turn of East German champion and a year later "East German masters" and Cup winner was. Peggy Küttner stayed in the capital after the merger to form the CJD Berlin and won the German championship twice (1993 and 1994), the DVV Cup four times (1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995) and the 1993 European Cup Winners' Cup . In 1996, she changed back to her Saxon home to the then second division club Dresdner SC , with whom she was promoted to the first division in 1997 . From then until 2003 she was represented in the rankings of German volleyball without interruption . In 1999 Peggy Küttner won the “double” of championship and cup with the Dresdner SC. After winning the cup again in 2002, she ended her Bundesliga career a year later. Peggy Küttner also played 31 times in the German national team .

From 1995 to 2003, Peggy Küttner also played beach volleyball alongside Janine Ast . The greatest successes here were two tournament victories in Essen in 2000 and 2002.
