Mix white

Mix Weiss actually Emilia Iten (born July 29, 1924 in Ebikon ; † June 5, 2014 in Meride ) was a Swiss journalist and writer .

Life

Mix Weiss trained as a fashion designer. She first lived in Tremona and moved to Zurich in 1974 , where she worked as a journalist for various daily newspapers and magazines such as Femina , Annabelle and Schweizer Familie in the fashion and features section, and also wrote major reports. In 1988 she moved back to Ticino and wrote as a freelance journalist for the weekend supplement of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung . In 1992 she received the Zurich Journalism Prize . In 2000 she published her first novel.

Mix Weiss was married to the Swiss sculptor Max Weiss from 1945 to 1974 and had three children with him. Mix Weiss lived in Meride . She died there on June 5, 2014 at the age of 89.
