from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Janine Dietrich (born July 18, 1972 ) is a former German table tennis player . She represented the GDR at the 1990 European Championships .

Career

Janine Dietrich played for the Rotation Berlin club in 1988 and then with KSV Erdgas Berlin until 1990 in the GDR's upper league. In 1992 she joined the VfB Lübeck , in 1994 she switched to the Berlin TSC (later 3B Berlin, now Ttc berlin eastside ). The other stations were TSV 1990 Merseburg (Regionalliga) in 2006 and SC Eintracht Berlin since 2010.

Janine Dietrich took part in the 1990 European Championship for the GDR. This showed the lack of international practice among GDR athletes, caused by the competitive sports decision in 1969. The GDR women ranked 23rd out of 27 participating teams. Janine Dietrich also failed to win the individual competitions.

At the North German Championships she was twice first in doubles: 1995 with Samanthi Wimalasuriya and 2000 with Jessica Göbel .
